Pulling Up

Alexandrea is getting closer to crawling, but still does not care for being on her belly so she generally prefers to sit when on the floor.

Tonight, Alexandrea pulled up twice to a complete stand all by herself using other objects before tonight she would only pull up with some help like when we are holding her.

The look on her face was priceless. I did not get a picture of her standing but here is her on her knees.

  1. Your daughter is so cute! And I love your previous post on sign language; I'd always intended to do it with my daughter, and never managed to. Definitely next time, around though!

  2. Yay, Alexandrea! How exciting for mommy, too!

Thank you for your comment on my last post! I've been told that almost all preemies have reflux but I didn't think it would get this bad! He is on Neosure Formula which is what the hospital recommended. It's a preemie formula so I don't have to fortify. I've been pondering about if this could also be a formula issue because he grunts and passes gas a lot during and after taking a bottle.

Thank you for letting me know that I'm not alone out there! I can't tell you how many times I've cried in his nursery after giving him a bottle because it seems like this should be the easy part of being a mommy. I mean, he has to eat but has such a hard time...ugh, guilt again!
